It better... My father runs a sawmill and if it doesn't come back soon the place will need to close its doors

But yeah, Ford has been a lot smarter than the other two and their vehicles have had higher reliability and quality. It shows when my father has 2 company trucks w/ 300k+ and another w/ 200k. Thats why he keeps using them. They last. My dakota is falling apart at 105k.

Take a look at Ford man, they're experimenting, starting to take chances and challenges. The Coyote 5.0L 4v, Hurricane Boss 6.2L, Taurus SHO, Focus RS, Fiesta, Microsoft Sync...

These are all experiments, which you didn't see when Ford was bracing for the recession.

Quite being a negative Nancy and embrace the blue oval.

Too little too late?

Just playing devil's advocate here...

Considering the other two American auto industries are now bankrupt and sucking off the teat of the American taxpayers, no. Ford's quality has also skyrocketed from the old days of the original Taurus and Fiesta...Now an American auto is on the same quality field as Toyota/Honda.

Whether it's "too little too late" will not be known for another 12 months or so. Until then personally I think it's best to hope that things improve such that Ford doesn't need to sell out to the government like the others have done. Some of this is beyond the direct control of the company anyway and is dependent on the economy improving and gasoline prices staying reasonable.

Mustangcat just doesn't want you to cast doubt on the situation if you can't tell by his posts. So don't bother trying to bring any realism into the picture here.

Regarding quality Ford has certainly improved. Are they better than Honda for instance? I don't know. What does jdpower have to say about it?

Um what? Cast doubt on the situation?
Kiddo, Ford being the only American Auto company to survive with Chapter 11 bankruptcy is a big deal. Look at the stock figures via the New York Stock Exchange if you think I'm blowing smoke up your ass.

General Motors - GMQGM - $0.89
FoMoCo - F - $6.40

Ford's stock is worth 6x+ that of General Motors, if that doesn't show how good they're doing in light of the recession, than nothing will.

Kingkongzilla asks me if I think it's too little too late; I respond with what I think citing Ford's quality improvements.

You ask me what quality improvements regarding Honda; I reply with three credible sources.

Yet, I'm the one ignoring on the contrary?
Ok, you can leave now.

What part of they are still losing money DON'T you understand?

The third link you posted cited a source paid for by Ford. Credible my ass. The second link shows they did well in segments, which is good, but they didn't lead Honda in overall ratings. Your first link showed that in overall quality Ford ranked 10th. Six spots behind Honda. Here is some 2009 data for you.

I want you to repeat after me now please. I AM SOFA KING WE TODD ED.
