just look at what .6 liters does ..4.0 vs 4.6..........................anyways.............. ............
User below needs to go sell his "authentic cobra r's and his O-mazing looking turbine wheels "which dont exist they are all ugly *** hell" and shut the F*ck up.........sounds like another pissed off person who's pissed that their old v8 5.0 puts out less than a new 4.0 83 gt huh? wasnt that a 175 hp "5.0" car, hell that actually is less than my old 2.3 svo...lmfao

I'd love to see a 302 badge, but a redesigned 5.0 badge would still be sweet. They should rock the GT badge on the back and put the 302 or 5.0 on the sides.

2011 Mustang with the 5.0 fender badge.
The Mustang is not just an iconic pony car or a retro-modern throw-back to simpler times. It's a fan-favorite performance vehicle that has a rabid and enthusiastic base of drivers, tuners and manufacturers behind it. So news of the return of the '5.0' badge to the front fender of the 2011 Mustang GT is likely to be met with a roar of approval.
Ford last stuck the 5.0 badge on the Mustang when it was last powered by a 5.0L V8. So now that the 5.0L Coyote V8 is expected to replace the current 4.6L V8, it makes sense that the 5.0 badge would return.
That logic is backed up by reports from a post at MustangSource who claims a Ford parts list contains an entry for the 2011 Mustang with the 5.0 fender badge.
Expect a badge familiar to fans and highly reminiscent of the badge used from 1979-1993 - chrome numbers with a red 'dot' between the 5 and the 0. But also expect it to get a modernized tweak, much like the running horse badge did for the 2010 Mustang.
