I'm seeing an equally steady flow of Challengers and '10 Mustangs on the road, but only a handful of Camaros. I'm pretty sure the hype will die down next year which will be perfect positioning for the Mustang when the new powertrains appear.

perhaps the numbers are only slightly higher because they arent counting ones on order, or arent readlily available. Only ones that have been taken by customers have been counted. I know in some areas there is still a huge waiting list. I am sure the numbers would be way more inflated if they could build them as fast as the orders are comming in for them. I personally dont like the "new" mustang. I like the 05, but dont like the 2010 at all. Perhaps I just need to see one up close.

Around here, in NH, I heard thru the grapevine that they are getting $5,000 over invoice because you can't even get your hands on one. Saw a video on utube of a 2010 camaro bone stock pulling a 13.06 in the 1/4 mile. Fast but you would figure the thing would be a lot faster with 426 HP on tap. Thing must weigh a ton.

13,06 is sad, the camaro still is slower than a termi
Termi? Thats not saying much either. I'm only a couple tenths slower than a stock termi. lol
The camaro is a pig, thats why its time sucks and needs so much HP to put it there.
13.06 is plenty quick.
Any curent(2005-present) stock mustang naturally aspirated can't touch that.
Before they stopped making the camaro that was the car to buy if you wanted to go fast. LS1's with a little tuning (engine and suspension) were running in the 12's through the mufflers.
Name any mustang besides the 428 cobra jets or 429 boss that could say that.... stock exhaust manifolds, full exhaust, on street tires.

Uh, it's possible for the 2005+ Mustangs(S197 GT) to touch the 12's with only a CAI, Tune, and a driver mod.
