Saleen didnt change anything from the factory oem rear on this model except add a black out panel.

So to clarify, the first car pictured in this post was to be the new "Saleen" branded Mustang? Are they even still planning to make any? I thought the company that bought out what was left of Saleen Inc had pretty much folded up their car tuning operation (I could be wrong, I haven't kept up with that story). I know the second car pictured is Steve Saleen's actual new Mustang....being built under his SMS name. Just a little confused over the title now that I'm thinking about it.

For a Saleen I was expecting a bit more in the appearance department.

Sorry, but I like the look of the '05-'09 Mustangs waaay more than the new '10s. In my opinion, they softened the car's lines and made it look less aggressive and more "modern". Meh!

Love the front end! I like the rear on the '10, I actually think it's an improvement over the previous S197. However, I don't like what saleen did with the rear end here. The color is lost and in this case the blackout panel just doesn't seem right. Maybe blacked out tailights would help?

Yep, complete blackout treatment out back helps ALOT.

That looks great and the Steeda Spyder wheels are probably my favorite wheels.

Wow I really want one of those, too expensive for me though, and I'd rather get a 60's mustang

I agree that it isnt just us 05-09 guys, I think we just know good styling lol but I was driving in huntington beach and a guy on a motorcycle pulled up next to me at a light and was saying he saw a mustang and the read end just looked all messed up to him but i told him it was just the new styling for 2010 he said he likes my car way more lol but I definitly like the front of the 2010 way more than 05-09
