Greetings to All:
I have a 2006 Mustang with a glass roof. I have yet to see another one anywhere. I see online that they will be offered in 2010, does anyone else have one now?

It looks like a giant sunroof. Structurally its as strong (the dealer said its stronger) than the regular roof. If you have ever been in a targa top corvette, its very similiar but probably twice as long.
I would be more worried about a convertible than the glassback.
Thanks for the info. I still have yet to find one purchased the same year as mine. I have the 2006 version and I love it. But.....one of the reasons I loved it so was besides it being a Mustang was the fact that it was a little different and sexier than most Mustangs, now with everyone getting one I may have to change up to something else. If this is a special car since it is a 2006, should I keep it??
Your car is very rare because it is a 2006 with the glass roof. The only year in our body style (2005-2009) that you could get it from the factory is 2009, so it should always be pretty rare.
I haven't seen a glass roof in person from the inside. Is there a built in sun shield or something so that you can cover it up on hot days? How is the head room compared to standard roof?

yep, there is a sunshade that pulls out (like a sunroof shade). There is probably an extra half inch of headroom over a regular coupe because there isn't a headliner. I rarely pull the sunshade because I park in a garage at home and a parking garage at work. The only times that I have pulled it were when I had a headache and didn't like the extra light coming in and parking outside for a couple hours on a sunny day.
