Default Fords New 6.7L Diesel - Replacing Power Stroke

http://editorial.autos.msn.com/artic...mentid=1087845

6.7L is one hell of a displacement!

-Twin propeller turbocharger
-"Urea" bag, needs replacing every 7,500 miles
-Lighter weight than the current 6.4L Diesel
-Much quieter to boot.
-New injectors by Bosch, eliminates diesel "clatter."

Ford hasn't announced power ratings...Any guesses/estimates?

I like my current 7.3L Powerstroke. Nice motor. Goes forever too. The 6.0 was a mess, not sure how the current 6.4L PSD's are.

Will be interesting to see how much the urea bag costs to replace, and if the owner can do it.

Really cool engine architecture. Intake manifold mounts to the outside of the cylinder heads and the exhaust manifolds mount to the inside of the cylinder heads.

I'd guess 380hp and 700tq.

LOL your right. I mention Urea Bag in a thread title and it's #6 on Google that fast.

I'm really curious to see what this engine can do. Lighter than the current diesel...Yet more powerful...Very cool
