Theres a pretty good chance your right, maybe a mid year special edition with a limited number produced? That'd be cool. (since first technical year was 64 and 1/2 on the titles right?)

I definitely don't like the back end. We comment on it whenever we see a '10. I don't like the way the tail lights and trunk lid kind of angle in at the lower corners.

Default Sedans or wagons? May God have mercy on us.

But y'know. The way I see it, Ford did great with its first five years or so of Mustangs, and so so with the 71-73's, and then tanked after that until the Fox bodies came along. I have a nagging suspicion they're about to eff the Mustangs up all over again, just like they did before

I hope in an effort to stay fresh with the design, they don't repeat history.

And yeah, the rear ends are what ruin the 10's for me, just like the 'hips' on the new Camaros. Blech.

Are you just trying to stir stuff up? Get yourself an '09 at a discount and have Ford put a roushcharger on it. Win

mustang always redesigns on the 5 year incriments. meaning 2015 will premier an entirely new design.

Yeah, well Ford talked about doing that a long time ago until the Mustang community bucked heads with Ford.
