tryin to build 67' mustang. got some ideas but would like to hear others takes on certain things. like ENGINE TRANNY PAINT WHEELS/RIMS and basicly open for suggestions. all help would be greatly appreiated.

I can't give you an effective opinion on what to use on your 1st gen. There are several factors to consider such as: the car's main purpose, power goals, budget and time frame.

Personally, I've always like the stuffed 390ci V8 with a T-10 transmission (yeah, I know- McQueen had the idea first). I would run four wheel disc brakes and paint it the color of your choice. My favorite wheels on that year would probably be the gray Torq Thrust wheels.

yeah there are alot of options to consider. my first thought was a 302, but everyone and there brother has a 302 powered mustang. also thought about a 351, but still yet there are bigger motors. and last but not least thought about ripping everything in it all to hell by cramming a 460 in there. and transmissions as far as they go i'll take any thing thats manual. lol. paint, i would like jet black with red le mans stripes or might change the colors a bit not for sure. efinetly would run the disc brakes, and not for sure about wheels, but i do like the torq thrust. but as for my budget i got some money saved but could hopefully come up with enough to do what i please with the car. other than that i would love just to make this a super mean car, and hopefully with enough time money and hard work i'tll happen. thanks for your take, but all suggetstions are welcome.
