+1, Ford could make a 400 HP 4.0L V6 if they wanted to, but then everyone would bitch about the price and no one would buy it.

I gotta bite on this one. Personally, IF that's Ford's big conspiracy, I'm good with it. Why?

Because MY car is not Nuke's car, Nuke's car is not RodeoFlyers, etc. I prefer to mod it the way IIIII want it, rather than buy a car that's just like everyone else's and limited mods available. I love that there are literally thousands of ways to make one of these cars yours and no one else's.

V8 or V6, ShadowWulf nailed it: +1, Ford could make a 400 HP 4.0L V6 if they wanted to, but then everyone would bitch about the price and no one would buy it.

I'd rather buy one cheap and upgrade it as I see fit for my driving needs. Just my 2 cents.

Just wanted to say............pretty retarded-ass thread topic. And no, I'm not reading all of it. The first post was more than enough.

I am curious to see what the official milage ratings are. I wonder if the 315 hp V6 will get > 24 mpg. I am able to get 23 mpg even with the occasional second gear scratch.

i also wonder if the gt's price is gonna be inflated like the camaro's are with the new 5.0 motor. in my area a new camaro ss costs ~38k. yet they still compare it to the gt's which cost about 10k cheaper.

I dont think it will be. The mustang doesnt have 7 years worth of customers in line with cash in hand waiting for the release, like the camaro did.
