Are you saying on the '10 they used the same suspension as the '05-'09 and revised it to Bullitt specs or they used the Bullitt specs and further revised from there? Because I believe it is the latter.

I thought I should include the 2011 because it will be out in 5 months... right around the corner!

I am sure that Ford probably made a few minute adjustments to the Bullitt specs so they could advertise an "updated" suspension in their marketing brochure/campaign. But all of the suspension parts are interchangable from 2005 - 2010 (Bullitt included), meaning the same components. Shocks and struts are the only parts that were "updated".

That being said, I'd buy the '10!
Haha you hit it right on the head. It would be a tough decision for me because I absolutely love the new interior, but I don't know if I would get the 2010, it depends on the price difference. Honestly I'd wait until 2011.

Did you happen to see the posts by "groot" who was a Ford suspension engineer for the 2010 and posted on TMS...until he apparently slipped too much info and all his posts were unceremoniously deleted?

He indicated that compared to the Bullitt, the standard 2010 was quicker around all of Ford's test tracks (not the straight kind) except one where it was the same. Of course, the Track Pack '10 car was quicker still.

I can't say for sure that "groot" was legit, but if he wasn't he was one heckuva con man.

I didn't see the posts by "groot". I am sure that Ford made adjustments that further fine-tuned the shocks and struts, but no revised parts - LCAs, panhard bar, sway bars - as they are all the same parts.

I wouldn't doubt that the new Mustang was slightly faster around a test track as the 2010 Mustang has a more areo-dynamic front-end now.

Yes, no doubt the parts are interchangeable, although the Pop Mechanix article mentions 17% larger rear springs (than the Bullitt).

I did find existing evidence of 'groot'! He even mentions the '10 v. Bullitt briefly in this thread.

For example: It was stated that we based our new Mustang GT tuning on the 2009 Bullitt. Truth is, we started from a new spot, but we did compare it to the Bullitt.

How did you find out the colors for the 2011 model? I thought there was no new info on those yet.
