Smile What would you buy?

If you had a choice to buy a BRAND NEW, NEVER DRIVEN, Mustang. Would you chose the 2005-2009 model or the new 2010 model?

Even though the body style has change but is similar, the 2010 has more power, and is lightyears ahead of the older models in technology... 2010 2010 2010.... period

My suggestion... go to a dealership that has both, drive both, research both, in the end the 2010 will steal your heart...

Best of luck buddy, and as a car salesman myself, there are a lot of smart guys on this forum who know a lot about these cars, so if you have any questions, I would suggest asking these guys, b/c I work with salesman, I know that MOST of them are complete idiots...

Asking this question in the "2010 - 2011 Technical Discussions" forum might give you a slightly biased response curve towards the '10.

But there are plenty of '05 - '09 owners cruising this section, don't get me wrong.

And who knows: some '10 owners have them just because there are (almost??) no pre-'10 (as you stated in the original post) BRAND NEW, NEVER DRIVEN left at dealers to buy. Just '10s at this point. And many '10 owners have them because they wanted a new vehicle.

Pure speculation on my part, by the way.

P.S. After just reading afoust50's post above, I'd say some wisdom could be garnered from his advice

I went looking for a 09 GT but after seeing and driving the 2010 GT it was an easy decision. Everything about the car was better IMO.
