Default unsurpassed gas mileage

They act like 25 mpg highway is a great feat, but isn't that what the v8 camaro gets already?

It's pretty damn good because the car has 412 HP... and it doesn't use cylinder deactivation like the Camaro. The Camaro goes down to 4 Cylinders when cruising to achieve that mileage.

No, but in all the articles I've read it attributed the added fuel mileage to other factors and cylinder deactivation was not mentioned.

No, the new 5.0 does not use cylinder deactivation.

Thumbs up

To get the High MPG GM used the LAWS of Physics, something Ford doesn't really do much.

1.High GEARING in the transmission
2. Cylinder deactivation.
3. Gas Friendly Computer Programming.
4.Low Stall in the Automatic.

The new 5.0will be 200 lbs lighter, and ho oer cubic inch

the L99 engine is the only engine package on the camaro that does that. The LS3 does not. There was also something with the way the automatic transmission works that helps it get better mileage.
