Oh, and for those calling it a waste of a car.... Saleen was/is certified as a manufacturer, not just a company that mods cars, like most speed shops. So if they build a development car, just like Ford or GM does to certify parts for emissions/warranty/DOT, etc, those cars can't be sold, and must be scrapped. What better way for them to recoup some of their development money than to make a display vehicle, and then sell it when it is no longer needed? Better than crushing it!
