Now I'm not sure if I want the new 5.0 or the 2004 Cobra, either way my payments will be in the same ball park!!!!!!!!!

well i would expect the pricing to rise a little bit with a new motor being dropped in but the price is still cheaper than a new camaro or challenger.

My cousin was talking about getting a new SS, until we went to autotrader and you can't touch one for less than $45,000!

Base V6 w/ or w/o Conv = +$900
Prem V6 w/ or w/o Conv = +$1600
Base GT w/ or w/o Conv = +$1900
Prem GT w/ or w/o Conv = +$2100
GT500 w/ or w/o Conv = +$1100

Those seem like some pretty healthy jumps in prices... It is a lot more car now tho. Better engines all around and better suspension all around.

I have a feeling an option'd out GT (non convertible) is gonna break $40k easy. Throw onto that the dealer markups people will be seeing... This is going to be a very expensive car. Approaching GT500 territory pretty quick.

At least the Base GT still comes in under $30k :-) Give it a few years on the market and hopefully we'll be able to get some really awesome deals on these 5.0s :-D

If the 2011 is anything like the previous S197, the 5.0 will be affordable in about 3-4 years and Im talkin around 15k
