Im interested to see what kind of numbers we see once these cars start getting into more experienced hands. MT got 378 at the wheels and Popular hot rodding got 395...obviously a discrepancy that I expect not to be resolved until the cars start hitting the consumers and the performance shops that can play around with these cars.
however, go into the S&S section and quote what a certain car runs based on MT and your replies will be all over the board...but for now this is the best we have.

If i upgrade to a 2011 I should ask to keep my 17s... plus i'd have a set of drag radials already for it
I believe if you get brembo brakes you have to get 19s for the brakes to fit. not certain though, and 18 is the smallest sized wheel you can order from the factory.

Well for a car mag to get sub 13 second times.......that's encouraging. You can bet experienced driver's will best those times by a few tenths. I just can't wrap my head around the fact that they did these times on factory 255 street tires. Just imagine what just some fatter/better meats out back will do.
Also, I must have missed it. Was this an auto or a manual?

Didn't motor trend or someone get the SS to run a 12.8 too?
they obviously came down a bit,, or maybe they ran 13.1's and 12.8's are their 'new' standard...
either way..
I can't wait for the first REAL comparo...
Sure it's been a LONG time since a GT beat an SS straight up performance wise, and the GM's have a lot more notches under their belt, but this one could be SO..SO..sweet....
after all that time it took the Camaro to come back around, only to be defeated once again....so sweet that would be
