I have seen pictures online and Ive heard stories about S197 Mustang cop cars but this past sunday I saw one for myself. Harper Woods, near Detroit, has themselves a plain looking 2005-2009 Mustang GT police car...and I saw it with someone pulled over.

Very cool. I stopped at a very good customers shop about 30 minutes west of Cincinatti over the summer and saw an Alloy undercover cop. I was wishing I was in my car - oh the photo op!

That's pretty sick. I would love to see that in person, as long as it's not behind me. Once in a while I'll see a Charger, but mostly Crown Vics around here

Around Detroit, we have a ton of Chargers, Magnums, Crown Vics, and GM SUVs (mostly state cops) but this is the very first Mustang I have seen. When I first moved here, I saw a Camaro SS with someone pulled over and the cop had "street racing enforcement" on his back...the one time i saw it in action, it had a terminator pulled over.

Man what happened to the days cops ran around in marked vics? huh??? I want those days back. I'm tired of seconding guessing or looking over my shoulders to scan for the unmarked cars b4 i cruise.
