One year better than another?

No, there aren't any mechanical differences between the 05's, 06's, 07's, 08's, and 09's. Generally there may have been some non-drivetrain related TSB's that got addressed as the newer models rolled in, but nothing that would affect modability or performance. You'll make an 05 just as fast as an 09 with the same mods. Same motor......same gearboxes.

Hey Bro thxs for the ultimate compliment but its not a terminator ( I wish). Just did a little customizing to my likeing.. As you can see no emblems ( not going to fake the funk) Once I return from my deployment she will have just as much power as a Terminator and man that's going to be awesome!!!

I'm coming out of the euro crowd so I just thought it was debadged (happens a lot in with the euro guys). Still a bad car and thank you for serving our country. I have a lot of respect for the people of our military.

I'd say you really can't go wrong with any year (as far as 05-09). Theres a lot of people on here who have an 05-09 that has a ton of problem-free miles. Like 170k + I think might be the highest. An 09 model would have all the minor kinks worked out but nothing major. These cars are surprisingly reliable if maintained
Good luck
