Default 2012 Yellow Blaze

I posted this in the general tech section, then realized this was probably the place for it. I'm working with a dealer on ordering a GTCS, he's telling me because of the cars specifics it will be a special order and will have to be a 2012 buildand that these are the colors available for the CS Pkg in 012
here's his e-mail to me.

Sebert,

2012 CS colors are Grabber Blue, Performance White, Yellow Blaze, Race Red, Black, and Ingot Silver.

Anyone seen the Yellow Blaze? is it already out on a different model ?

thanks guys !!!

I think it's a color that has to be seen in person to appreciate it. I've seen it in pictures and driving by it on the lot and have always thought it was ugly. But, I test drove one, and after walking around it for awhile, it's a badass color. Changes color tones as you walk around it. Heres a thread that has pics that represent the color a bit better.

well, its getting cold outside again...****in reached down to the 40s the other day. almost can't wait for the snowy stuff............................almost i don't have a twitter account nor have i ever been to a twitter web page (update: i have), but if i ever did decide to take the plunge i will let you know by posting it in this awesome little box of text (update: not really)! i like tacos lol...though between crunchy tacos and soft tacos i cannot really say which one is better. sometimes, the mess a crunchy taco leaves behind is a little annoying while the soft taco just doesn't have the same taste... cake is so much better than pie no, srsly. **** pie. ****ing

The pictures do make it seem like more of an orange than yellow...

Wow that is one of the coolest colors I have seen.
At first it is kind of out there, but then it just becomes striking.

Now does it look more like a gold in person or yellow? It looks more like gold to me in most of the pictures. I hate yellow, but I love gold, go figure. I thought if nothing else it should be the rarest color at least.

I can tell you it depends on the light. during the day I think its a little more gold...at night, its more yellow. and depending on street lights, parking lot lights it will change quite a bit. (I like it)

+1!! And to how close/far from it you are can make it look different as well. At different distances I pick up orange in it..

My Mom has a 2012 Focus with this color and its awesome!!! but...... first week she had it a rock chipped the window and the window guy that sealed the chip arrived and right off the bat goes "that sure is a horrible color"....... he got an ear full when dad got home! (one of those days i wish i was back home! lol mom was laughing telling me the story)

It definitely grows on ya. At first I didn't even pay it any attention on the lot because it was yellow. After seeing it from different angles and then in different light, it's pretty cool. goes from a light yellow gold to a darker yellow orange.

This color isn't much stock, but IMO with a little contrast (black, bronze, gray) anything would really set this color off.
