New 2014 Mustang Rumors!

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/au...rld_debut.html

Looks pretty promising, not so sure about replacing the v6 for a turbo 4, but if it can make 300hp ill come around.

JayBeStangs94 06-09-2011 11:21 AM

ehh doesnt do much for me, they're eventually gonna run out of ideas for the 'retro' style

MarkThorn 06-09-2011 12:02 PM

There's a lot of Giugiaro in this design. The Aston Martin meets Camaro from behind, not sure...

Daniel98GT 06-09-2011 12:07 PM

Ewwwwwwwww.................

simpsonfan13 06-09-2011 02:40 PM

it does look too camaroish, so it's likely not a final production version. if anything this world market move is going to force ford to up the interior quality and handling. i like the Turbo I-4 over the v6. THE V8 IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE STOP FREAKING OUT LIKE HEADLESS CHICKENS PEOPLE!

Personally I think the current configuration is the best nod to the good ol days- and that prototype is too much of a departure from anything Mustang. Looks more like a Camaro- which I like- but only if its a Camaro- not a Mustang thinking it needs to look like a Camaro! just sayin.

Whether this is the design or not... ford has already said that they are moving away from the retro style mustang in 2014 and moving more toward a modern style

65Raven65 06-09-2011 05:45 PM

A little bit Camaro-ish, but I still like it.

Lava 06-09-2011 05:53 PM

I rather like it. I really want another Mustang and can't wait for this aniversary model to come out. just hope they do it right. the current design just doesnt work for me. I have owned 6 in the past :65 fsbk, 69 fsbk, 70 coupe, 86 Htbk GT, 99 conv GT, and 03 GT. Then I decided to try the 2010 Camaro. After 14 months it just didn't have my heart so I go rid of it and decided to wait for the 2014 model. Keeping my fingers crossed hoping Ford doesn't fail me............................

Direct ripoff of the Giugiaro, which leads me to believe that this is nothing more than a hoax...

That is hideous! What the hell Ford! Have you lost your balls and going to follow the chevy boys with those ugly rear fenders and no prideful design on the side of the car. It looks like a cheaply made camaro. YOU meaning FORD can do better than that. How bout leave the foglights add rear independent suspension and give it an aggressive look. Back to the drawing board. Lets not settle for it's ok. Let's give it it a look that make people say LOOK LOOK LOOK THAT'S BADASS!!! TRY AGAIN

Anyway, everything that we can see on the web are just artists sketches. The kind of thing we can see in the Ampersand section of the Road & Track magazine for example. I'm pretty sure that Ford will come up with a totally different design for 2014, as they mentionned. No more retro style.

Better aerodynamics would be nice in the Stang......just stay away from Maro knockoffs.

I need some help!

The New 2014 Mustang looks great.
Anyways, I need some help regarding my 2000 Mustang V6.
Has anybody modded the Catalytic converter by installing one from a GT? I know it won't fit perfectly, but it can be fitted with some modifications. Has anybody done this? what happens to the "check engine light" does it come on?

you see one of my CATS has gone bad and thinking of replacing; however CATs are really expensive brand new and used ones are not sold in junk yards. I kind of have access to a CAT that came off a GT. I have not bought it yet because I don't know if it will work on a V6. Can someone give me some feedback on this? Thanks.

Hmmmm, kinda looks like a cross between a Aston Martin DB9 and a 2011 Camaro.
I'm not sold on the new design, but I don't have to be..... I like S197s.

big401 06-30-2011 05:45 PM

big401 06-30-2011 05:46 PM

CAD 07-05-2011 01:10 PM
