Default My choice

I will say Shelby GT500 is the best Mustang, its supercharged, 5.4-liter V-8 good for 550 hp... serves as a real challenge for the previously released mustangs.

My personal choice is the Boss 429. However since that is not a choice here I will go with the 65 GT350.

I got to say the 2001 Bullitt. The 08 Bullitt was not much more than a green GT with Bullitt emblems and a cold air intake. The 01 was much more specialized than many others on that list. 01 Bullitt has my vote.

Have to throw in a vote for the 03 04 Machs. I see them as a tribute to the past reminding us why we are mustang fans ...

I'm pretty much with a bunch of others on the Boss 429. I'm shocked that none of the late 60s big block variants even made the list. A new GT500Kr made it, but not the original........WTF???? Nary a 428 or 429 to be found......makes this old fart sad.

I'm going out on a limb here The REVERSION Mustang can be placed in this category Well maybe a one of concept Mustang? blending both yesteryears classic style and design into today's hightech modern platform to come away with a very Special edition?

The 1965 Shelby GT350 was not a "special edition" Mustang. The manufacturer was, in fact, Shelby American and not Ford. This was specifically called out in the contract between Shelby and Ford Motor Company.

That's not a special edition Mustang. It's an example of just because you can doesn't always mean you should. Why not throw in West Coast Customs' Dynacorn body '67 on a new Mustang?

I have the 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1 but my fiance has the 2003 SVT Cobra "Terminator" and I have to say... I voted for his car because it's just super sweet.

No question it's the 1970 Boss 429, or the 65 GT350, or the 2012 Boss 302, and couldn't leave off the 1968 1/2 428 Cobra Jet, that may be the best.
