I don't hate it but I def don't like it. I want my Mustang powered by Ford and if I want a Corvette I want it powered by Chevy.

Putting a Chevy heart in a Ford body is FAR from uncommon. Look at all the classic rods out there powered by Chevy. This guy' s engine choice, is a great one. Car looks great. Would I marry the two? Personally, I kinda doubt it. I wouldn' t buy a brand new Mustang, just to put a Chevy engine into it. The original owner had his reasons for building this car, I hope. What I don' t get though, if he was a big Mustang fan, why did he chose to beat a Chevy with a Chevy motor. If he just wanted to beat his buddy at all cost, he could have bought a C5, drop a Lingenfelter twin-turboed 427 ($49,995 and good for 9' s on slicks), and put a bottle on it. His buddy would have seen nothing but taillights, and he would have spent less than $100k. I' m not against the conversion personally though. I would like to put a built motor in my Camaro, and maybe put my LS1 into my Fox. My Fox would haul *****, and cost me a lot less than building the 5.0, but for now, I like tinkering with the stock motor.

C4 Corvettes... Yikes! The worst platform for reliability or looks even.

Perfect candidate car to put the current 5.0 in.
How 'bout that swap?
