Honestly.... I think its a good idea, especially since the door clearly states police department, but I dont think they should be allowed to street race other drivers and then give them a ticket for street racing. Thats just not fair lol.

The pictured car is marked but the ones I see pulling guys over aren't marked. Most of the time I see them pull over really slow cars but I know not to race another mustang on the street since these guys are out there.
I would feel better getting pulled over by one of these guys, assuming I would ever try to street race another mustang I pass on the highway >.> but i don't think it would be too cool if they were egging me on. i could probably talk my way down to some non-moving violation for taillight obstruction or something.

El Paso isn't the first police department to use S197's. Quite a few have been doing it for a while now. Here's an article about a 2006 GT that has been used in Michigan (unmarked on the driver's side and fully marked on the passenger side) -
