My point of view - An 8 year old GM product (avg shelf life of about 4 years before parts start to break on it) or a new Ford. Easy choice for me.

The Corvette is the first real American Muscle car. First is best! I know plenty of guys who drive vettes and there is far more prestige with the corvette. At a local cruise night all the cars are parked together in the same lot...But the corvettes get a lot all too themselves, and its roped off with velvet rope and a sign that says Corvettes only. There is a certain mentality to being a Corvette owner, and as far as I can tell its a very arrogant mentality

Talking My 11 year old Daughter and 4 year old Son fit comfortably in the back seat.

If it's a killer muscle sport car then there's never been a better Mustang than the one they're making RIGHT NOW! Skip the Challengers and Camaros, pure poseur cars both of em!
My 11 year old Daughter and 4 year old Son fit comfortably in the back seat. As for a full-size adult, it would be a bit cramped back there!

Vettes are 50's, mid life crisis car. Mustangs are good, dd, every mans car.

Very true, Vettes are for

a)old gray haired retired geriatrics with young trophy wifes sitting in the passenger seat

or

b) drug dealers

I would like a vette, but because my little girls are car freaks, I would be leaving them out so a 5.0 Roush mustang is in my sights.

I'd spend a little more and get an LS3 (2008 or newer)

Like someone told me, "Every car nut should own a Vette at least once in his life."
