SH*T!!! No wonder, I sent my MSD Chevy LT1 Opti-Spark distributor in 4 weeks ago for a warranty repair/rebuild and haven't received it back yet!!! Bastards better ship me my distributor before they go bust...it is a $900 distributor! I called them about a week ago and they said they received the distributor and weren't sure when it would be done. Now I know why!

MSD and Accel are both brands that have not changed with the times. I used to work in auto parts stores in the early 90's and both were still highly regarded...in the classis car market. They never got a solid foothold in the modern muscle car era. Their products are still pretty good for the old classics but that is an ever shrinking market.
Their modern stuff is mostly junk (reliability issues and very little if any performance gain). There are a few products I've heard good things about but they are niche racing products (for drag racing). They should've focused more on the upgraded COP packages and ignition components that actually improve performance for the average Joe rather than market an average product (barely better than OEM) with huge reliability issues.
Waitin to see Accel also fade out. Sad times.
