Hey everyone,
I have always wanted an Eleanor, but i never actually thought of buying one.
However now i think i should buy one because i really love it!!
I found one for sale at RK Motors Charlotte (http://www.rkmotorscharlotte.com/sal.../134591/258375)
And would like to hear your thoughts about the one they sell... I really am "new" to mustangs, i can't tell if this is a good one or not, so i would love to get your help on this.
I also asked Mustangs to Fear if they could build me one and they asked for 135k for a turnkey ready one.
The one at RK motors is asking for 130k.

What do you recommend?

You need to be very careful if you buy from overseas - you will need to verify if it is a true Elenor with the Shelby registry, even then some unscrupulous dealers will take serial numbers from a wrecked car and build it up making it not real and not worth as much as you paid.

I just typed in Barret Jackson and Elenor and this is what came up... so 135K might be a bit pricey

Building one for 135K sounds ridicules, I would check with a local importer/builder in Europe. My guess with all the parts, you could be into it for well less then $75K and build it yourself. I bet any classic car restorer there could build you a fine one for less by getting the parts from the US, but shipping will start adding up. Dynacorn has excellent shell bodies, and then any classic mustang has the repro parts.

That's my uneducated guess - good luck and keep researching, maybe someone else more knowledgeable about something like this will answer here.
