I had them both running at the same time and I swear the Ecoboost seemed a lot faster. I had to keep pausing it to let the GT catch up!? Anyone else notice that...?

Nether were being driven in anger. They were just cruising around. The Ecoboost sounded a lot better than I thought it would.

yeah they had grandaddy behind the wheel for a sunday drive... I think the eco boost video the driver got higher in the RPMs though. ecoboost is 310hp, 320tq weighs 3532 and the v8 is 435hp 3705lbs. and 400tq.

just under 200lbs heavier and 125lbs more power.. ecoboost isn't beating the GT.

I have to say I really like the exhaust rumble of the GT...

Very machismo if ya know what I mean....

I got an invite to the unveiling 8/7 as I imagine most of ya'll did. Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh....

My Question: Is the ECO-Boost going to be speed limited at 115mph like the V6? Sorry but I still feel cheated since I found this out about the 13 V6 I purchased. It seems to be Fords best kept secret that a MiniCooper will outrun a Mustang V6.
