Big brother is watching! Glad I grew up when I did, when doing dumb **** was something that only brought immediate repruccusions (if you got caught, or hurt, or both). Now I feel there is a sense of fear instilled on the public, knowing that a dumb mistake they accidently or purposefully pulled can bring punishment at anytime. Its a touchy subject for sure, but I hope we don't get to 1984 status.

It is common now to have DWI checkpoints where officials shut down a roadway to step around a few laws. We also have "border" check points that are 60 miles inland and, again, shut down a roadway to snoop.
Back on topic, I certainly made some poor decisions as a wee lad. I paid dearly, in a legal sense, for blowing a read light that I should not have (I was in a hurry to get home for a very strict curfew). Regardless of that I would never do 110+ street racing. That's dangerous man!
