That's a god damn shame. $1000 just to get back something that was stolen from him. Not only is he out the car, he has to pay a damn tow bill (I would think the towing company would have at least cut him some sort of a break...). I hope those guys who stole it get what they deserve. I hope they were watching the news and saw the kid they took it from. I think we have to up penalties for things like this. If auto theft was punishable by death I bet we would have a lot less cars stolen. While that might be an extreme and maybe a bit old school you get my point.
