Smile 2015 v6 Drive Shaft info request

I was planning to get a bama tune as my first mod for my new mustang. However, I've heard that the 2 piece drive shaft on the v6 mustang can explode during high speeds. Has that changed with the 2015 model or is it still susceptible to failing? I was wanting to know cause if it still has this problem then I was wanting to upgrade my drive shaft first before I unlock the speed limiter on the car with a tuner.

I don't know about exploding at high speeds but do know that Ford has a new part number for their driveshafts due to balance issues.

The new car has a speed limiter of 121. They are still using a two piece drive shaft.

Our replacement aluminum shafts not only are good for higher speeds than stock but are also 32 pounds lighter!

That sounds amazing. Where can I find a 1 piece aluminum drive shaft?

Sorry about the late reply but you can call us at 480-898-1957 to place an order for our one piece aluminum bolt in shafts.
