Shelby GT350 Mustang Owners Suing Ford Over Overheating Gearboxes
#12
Derf00 said everything I came here to say. Shameful people - gotta be Americans, sue-sue-sue - buy a car that isn't properly equipped to do what they want in order to save a couple bucks. And now that the car - no surprise here - can't do what they want, they want to hold the manufacturer responsible. I sure hope they lose.

Still with the court. Seems that Ford did indeed call regular GT350 cars "Track Ready" even though they were not the GT350R version. Stupid on their part. If they had not done that, then the disclaimer in the manual would have been fine and this would've been dismissed a long time ago.
Again, I was never in the market for the GT350 so I wasn't aware Ford was marketing the GT350 AND GT350R as "Track Ready". Marketing genius strikes again!
