I've always been a fan of the M#, and I think that this is the best looking one to date.

not a big fan of BMWs, the last 2 M3 gens were probably the only ones i thought were cool, also saw the new M6 on TV last night and thought it was pretty badass... that new M3 though is by far the nicest car BMW ever made IMO. it's sick but i still voted cool but not my thing, just because i would never consider buying one (even if they were in my price range... wich they're not) there is just so many cars i would rather have.

I like it, very sweet ride, but a not so sweet price tag. I was looking at E36 M3's before I decided I wanted a Stang, for the cash I had every one had over 100k on the clock. Beemers run for a while, but parts are not near as avalible as they are for Ponys. I got my Stang with 56k on it for 9 bills, a $9000.00 M3 would most likely need some fixin. They are awsome cars though...loads of torque and handle with the best of em. Beemers really start to shine in the triple digits.

I'm just not a fan of M3s. Never have been. There is nothing wrong with a small 400 HP sedan/coupe (I had a 4.2 liter Audi S4 and liked it a lot). A good powerful sedan is cool (e.g., the BMW M5, with 500 HP).

What I don't like about the M3s is that BMW does not really aim to make it a nice powerful four-door or two-door sedam, instead they try to change it into a sports car - lowered, body skirts and dam, etc., different seats and other changes, etc. -- in my view its a Porsche wanna be now and right in the middle - not a good sedan anymore and not enough of a sports car.

It's a nice car but I am not really a BMW fan. My mom has a 98 328i vert and it has been a mechanical nightmare. I have also driven tons of them because hers is always in the shop. They feel very cheap to me. Unless it is an M or a V8 they are not very quick especially the sedans with the inline 6.

It's a sweet looking ride, but I'd never buy a beemer. I think they're overpriced and most of their models are ugly too.
