ya on average..... but sum live a few months longer..... i say its well worth it but u become attatched just like any other pet...

all captive and wild ones live that same amount.... same with cuttlefish and other cephalopods

well they change colors alittle more but not faster..... octo's can do it just as well and just as fast....
