huh. sorry, i guessÂ¿ tho nothing of the sort came up when i searched the past years worth for "cop" "spain" "spanish" "getaway" or "hostage" so i guess nobody chose to ever really explain much about it.

tho this vid was a good watch, as well this one

American cops would have taken him out with a sniper rifle the moment he stepped away from the hostages. Then he would not have been a danger to anyone on the road, and they would not have needed to sacrifice one of their patrol cars.
