That's hilarious. But in defense of Lexus, I don't think they ever claimed that system would back up into a parking spot. I think their claims are all around parallel parking, which is a different beast altogether. While parallel parking is technically MORE difficult for most people, the actions you take are much less dramatic then backing into a spot. Not to mention, I think it assumes that it's got a car's length of room to back into (not a car's width). I think they probably used the feature for something they shouldn't have.
