RE: Misinformation
You figure that on a TV show like that, they would have their sh** together on that sort of stuff. Those are both incredible cars, but it seemed as if he thought there were no suspension upgrades done to the Shelby. Correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe they did upgrade to a stiffer suspension w/bigger brakes etc., maybe not as extreme as the Rousch but still an upgrade. I guess he did not take into account that its a heavier 5.4 sitting in the front that might make a difference in the handeling

RE: Misinformation
While I love the program, I despise Jeremy. This guy so hates Americans, American cars and American culture, that he does everything he can to spit on us. It always cracks me up when he badmouths American Pick-up trucks for not handling like sportscars. He doesn't seem to realize that in America, pickup trucks are often used for hauling heavy things like big loads of hay, firewood, gravel, for towing large boats, trailers, etc. They are taken off road in ways and places that would definitely break anything less. We have ranches over here, the Brits don't. We have miles and miles of backcountry primitive roads, the Brits don't.
I'd like to see an honest Top Gear test of a current model Z06 versus any production vehicle the Brits build. I'd like to see this comparison include relative vehicle cost; try to find any production car on the planet that costs less than $200,000 (American) that will hang with the Z06.
But most importantly, this guy needs to understand that American automobile enthusiasts don't buy cars, we build them. Americans are not satisfied to purchase a performance vehicle and leave it as is, we will always mod it to improve its power and/or handling. Let's see Jeremy find something British to compete with THIS kind of American performance car.
