ha ha, i say. i need not of the torque. give me hp anyday. now, if i need low end power to get moving, maybe. having awd means i dont need a lot of power to get moving. i just have to rev higher.

Your lack of torque is made up by your gearing. But nonetheless, your hp is a direct result of your torque. Your gearing just helps you stay in your optimum torque band longer...

EXACTLY, You CANNOT have hp WITHOUT torque, one is the result of the other.

An old Mechanic once told me " Torque turns tires, power makes speed, but without both you have neither".

If torque is for the weak minded then power without torque must be for the small of *****.
