There were 3 of us standing under an open garage door in a storm and had one strike not more then 10 feet away. It knock all 3 of us right on our ***.

actually there are many people who survive direct lightning strikes. you get sever burns but many have walked away. ive even seen on the news once a guy who had been struck twice at two completely different parts of his life. amazing
