Hmmm. first of all. Did you hear the Cobra's shifts. lol. amazing. The dude must have been 90. also not much squeel out of the launch. Well, no launch at all. lol.
Ok, 2000. Im not starting a fight. So dont post back with a 12 page story like usuall. Im just saying. A stock GT with a nice shot of nitrous would hit you pretty low in the 1/4. Doesnt cost alot either.
I think you suck. But really... if you were running 13.4s with a 4.6 V8 on 14 psi of boost, I would have to point and laugh so hard at you until you sold the car and got a grocery getter.
You gotta remember it's a smaller engine, stock boost is something like 7-9 psi, so it's not like he did a hell of a lot of work, but he still shaved nearly a full second off his ET.
What'd it cost him? Depends on the boost controller, 300-500 bucks for a second off the ET? Yes please. Your bolt ons cost a hell of a lot more than that. I can guarantee it.
So before you say a car sucks, just realize he's nose for nose with you for probably 1000 less. Thank you...
and yes, you may drive through.

please don't ever use this logic. For the same token I can make a geo metro that is faster than an enzo ferrari for half a million dollars less but it doesnt mean I'd jump on the chance to drive the geo over the enzo.
People saying that kind of stuff is one of the few things that annoys me beyond belief

Who cares how you get there. I can make fun of Cobra guys til I'm blue in the face, but at the end of the day, they still have a blown v8 that runs 11's with a few bolt ons. Yes that's sad, but that's how they get there. If a Neon uses 30lbs of boost to run 11's, so be it. Why make fun of them for using FI when Ford does the same thing to compete with GM?
