First you will need to have a good tranny that has the correct bellhousing for the engine. I suspect there is plenty of room in the engine compartment to fit in that engine so the major modifications would be locating and welding in the correct motor mounts, and fitting a larger radiator. You could do away with the ECM and run all mechanical gauges but this would inlude modification of the dash and installation of new gauges. This is where it would be great to have a bare bone stang with no trac control and abs. Actually if your stang was paid for and you had a built 460 or something like that ready to go this could be really do-able. What a great project that would be, carbs are my thing, thats what I learned on so Icould really have fun with somethin like that!
