Look at when he first get sideways and it starts to correct- his taillights light up, which means he did the ONE thing you do not do when you have a half loss of traction, he hit the brakes. The second he hit those brakes, his car backend veered hard to the right, and he went right into the wall.
God, classic loss of traction 101 people. You do not hit the brakes when sideways- either let in the clutch, feather the throttle to control it, or just steer through it and let the wheels come under control on their own. He was all the way on the left side of the street, he had lots of road to correct.
