Sweet video! I liked how you turned off the music so we could hear the cars. The picture is pretty good, what camera did you use? What do you need to do to upload in HD?

I used a Canon HG10, the picture could have been better, but I lost some quality from the compression of streetfire after the upload. However, with that said, they are one of the few sites that allow such large file sizes, and HD quality.
Basically you just need to record with an HD camera, output it in the right video size, and thats it.

Unfortunately there's no HD quality left after the streetfire server had a go at it. It's like YouTube, the quality is boiled out of it by the codec Still, looks nice man !

Yeah, the loss of video quality does suck. But to be honest, it still looks 100x better then a normal camera, with normal resolution, compressed down.
If you look, streetfire and another site called vimeo.com, are both in the same. Vimeo has some awesome videos that show clarity in detail. One of the reasons that the HD doesn't look the best also is because of the night footage. Night time always shows more artifacting.
Either way, well worth the money spent on the camera imho.

^^^ Yeah I think so to, the camera I was going to get was the Canon HV30, I might pick one soon if for nothing else to take HD video of my car of course!

you beat me to it so i figured i would stress it just a little more.
vimeo kicks ass for hd uploading.
and link, i bought a hv30 a few months ago, it is a great camera for the price. unless you can find a deal on a prosumer cam, i recommend it.
