Both nasty cars, but the GT-500 is a regular production car, which is to me, reason to make the comparison a bit skewed.
I think the GT500 did very well compared too a car with aftermarket exhaust, tuning, a more efficient supercharger (Magnacharger) and of course that witches brew of fuel mixture. Taking nothing away from the Hennessey, but give the GT500 the same advantages and "GAME OVER" . I agree that the test was a bit skewed.
Hennessey's website says the Camaro starts at $60k.... Thats like comparing the Camaro SS to a GT 500.... Except performance was even closer in the GT500 vs Henessey.... I'd chalk this one up for the GT 500, again. No one wants a $60k car thats not fun or manageable to drive daily. Save a little more money and buy a GTR
