those turbo jap imports only make power on top. so from a red light it would get spanked but from a rolling start its alot closer. npi would lose hahah that sucks for us

this thread is fail. op the guy isnt that far off, but he drives an import so you cant expect him to know exactly how much a stock GT will put down after loss. an auto will sit probably 215-220, and a manual slightly higher. he was obviously just talking **** and i cant believe your taking it seriously.
but people like this make me laugh. a rsx with cams, header, exhaust, blah blah blah and it barely walks an obviously bone stock mustang gt from a roll. and that gives bragging rights, it really does... NOT. those rsx's can be mean little cars though i saw a supercharged one way back in the day. those cars spool to 8k and weigh nothing. but i just love the import mentality when they throw thousands of dollars in mods on their car then talk **** when they barely skate past someone whose bone stock. i bet if the mustang had cams or a blower the dude would have never raced him. atleast not on camera.
no doubt the RSX was pulling, but think about the numbers..
a 230 whp car that weighs less, and has a stronger high rpm range pullled a 230 ABSOLUTE MAX rwhp car that weighs more, and is not known for it's rolling race ability.
Hell, there's a chance I could get beat by a 230 rwhp rsx and I went 13.6's...
For a rough estimate there's a 12% loss through a manual transmission and a 20% loss through an automatic. That would be around 228 rwhp for the manual and 208 for the automatic. I've seen posts of dyno results that come pretty close to these ballpark numbers.
