what cars caught on fire?? And those RPMs aren't that high. I redline at 8 grand stock, most of those have 7k gauges and chipped ECUs which raised redline.

modified engines + chipped ECUs = top end power.

Yeah, and Jetta's don't rev out to 8-9 grand on the tach. It caught fire because an electrical connection got loose and sparked.

The only time I've ever heard of a Honda burning was when a friend of mine's starter was loose and the connection sparked and burnt his intake manifold, starter, wires, and part of an axle... it had nothing to do with "revving out really high".
