Default RE: 5spd Mustang GT vs. Cobalt SS from a dig

wow i saw this thread when it was originally posted and i cant believe how popular it got. but yea, its not worth arguing something like this online cause no one will ever win and its gonna keep going back n forth. no one wants to admit their car is slower than someone elses. i know the feeling but sometimes u gotta just accept the fact that theres always gonna be someone faster out there.

I really don't even care anymore, no one has respect for anyone elses views at all. 80% of my posts are in the tech forums where it is very obvious that I know Mustangs but the local post whores still refuse to shut up.

Pure facts will say that a Cobalt SS running 14.4 @ 99.8mph will on average be equal to a 99-04 GT. It doesn't matter if you hate GM or the driver thats just how it goes. Driving skills are 90% of a race with cars this close, so if you say you see one in the 15's then the other is also in the 15's with the same driver. Although the FWD Cobalt takes a wee bit more practice to launch correctly.

I do find it funny though that 03YellowPony talks trash about a low 14 second Cobalt yet he drives a V6 Mustang.

His V6 is probably as fast as your car, it is modded. Your trap speed is bs. My brother drove a cobalt SS last night, I rode with him. It is quick through first after that it falls flat. Most people are trapping mid 90s, you seem to be the only one trapping almost 100.

i dont really consider someone whos been on here for a year a newbie[8D]
It won't be a year for 2 days, and 395 posts is still newbie status.
Which goes to show that I am, in fact, NOT a post whore. I could give a **** about how many posts I have, it means nothing. Theres guys, like yourself, that have tons of posts; Doesnt mean they know jack.

All this thread is, is fuel for more pointless arguing about who's car is faster, whether it be from a dig, roll, backwards, whatever. It's the most useless waste or time and space ever. Pick the two guys arguing, set it up, line em up, the end. Its easy to be a braggart when you're on the internet and there's no way to prove someone is wrong or right.

As far as your comments to me (and others I see) you're just being a dick....
I see you are on the rag, don't get your panties in a twist sweetie. This is a grown man conversation, you obviously can't handle it and have nothing useful to say. Go get a tampon and stay out of grown men's conversations.

Honestly codyss running a 14.4 @99 whatver is not that hard to swallow (unlike my cock!)haha but anyway as mustang lovers belived that "Quick" went 13 something in a "stock" notch witch i still find hard to belive even with the vid, but i cant argue that. I think even though its mid 14's WHO CARES!? Thanks slow! A stock G.T is SLOW

I will say, just like everyother car SS&5G's vs. G.T&5G's = GOOD BY SS!

i wouldnt have even wasted my time with some dumb cobalt no matter what it has in it, its like saying you beat a civic. as far as that last vid, beating a mid 60's stang once again is no major feat... unless its modded up of course

LOL thats funny coming from someone who probably just nearly reached drinking age! Don't worry though, once you become interested in girls you'll outgrow your fascination with their hygiene products and underwear.....
