Default The Horse (1995 GT) is SOLD!!

Literally just got it tuned on Tuesday at the Illinois Dyno Center, so it's in tip top condition.Pics are in the gallery, but the black FRs are gone, swapped out with my brother's 05 stang and replaced with 1997 17" GT rims. I will be putting more pics in this thread.
That's all that's different, beside the fact that the tuner, Tom Calvert at IDC, found almost 70 RWHP and 60 RWTQon the dyno on Tuesday! Tuning OWNS!!! [8D]
PM me with offers, ladies and gentlemen.
Here is the text from the eBay ad that is going to run starting Sunday night:

Up for auction a very clean 1995 Mustang GT. The engine was rebuilt in August of 2006 By Three E Machine in Iowa City, Iowa and has the remainder of a 2-year 24 thousand mile warranty on the engine that goes with the car. The engine was custom tuned at the Illinois Dyno Center (IDC) in Port Byron, IL on 3/20/2007 with a DiabloSport Revolution chip. Tuned conservatively on 89 octane fuel, the engine made 307.6 horsepower and 341.2 foot pounds of torque at the rear wheels which is approximately 360 horsepower[/b] and 400 pounds of torque[/b] at the crank. The owner/tuner of IDC said a 93 octane tune with more timing would be good for another 15-20 RWHP. A build sheet and dyno sheets will be provided to the buyer.
This car has everythingdone and is ready to be driven: Engine, drivetrain, suspension, audio, and appearance modifications have been performed to make this vehicle one that makes plenty of power (capable of mid to high 12 second quarter mile runs) but can be a comfortable daily driver. It averages about 18-19 miles per gallon on the highway and 15-16 in city driving

Here is a list of the modifications completed:

Engine/Power:
3,400 miles on the rebuild. Comes with remaining balance of 2year/24,000 mile warranty
1995 302 block bored .030 dry decked and milled .005

9.5:1 hypereutectic pistons w/chamfered valve reliefs
0.5g balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly with chamfered oil holes
Shotpeened and de-burred rods w/180K psi ARP bolts
crank turned .010/.010 with chamfered oil holes
Ford Racing E303 cam PN M-6250-E303 (220/220 duration at .050 with 0.498"/0.498" lift)
Ford Racing stamped steel pushrods PN M-6565-L302
Ford Racing lifters PN M-6500-B303
1.6 Ford Racing roller rockers PN M-6564-A351 and guideplates M-6566-D311
313# Ford Racing springs PN M-6513-BH
K&N Cold Air Intake
Billet BBK underdrive pulleys
BBK 70mm T/B
port matched SVO intake with off-road lower intake PN M-9461-B50
1/2" phenolic intake spacer
Milidon HV Oil pump

BBK Off Road H pipe
Flowmaster 40's with turn down tips
Weiand high volume aluminum water pump

Drivetrain:

T5 transmission
B&M short throw shifter
Ford Racing 3.73 Gears

Suspension/Handling:
Jamex Foxbody Shocks and Struts, Ford Racing 1.25" sway bars
Eibach Drag launch springs (1 coil out of front) and right rear air bag
Southside Machine shop (Chicago, IL) handmade upper and lower control arms
Full length welded subframe connectors
Drilled and slotted rear rotors with ceramic pads

Interior:
Mach 1 pedal kit
White face gauges
Autometer oil pressure/water temp/air-fuel gauges

Exterior/Cosmetic mods:
17X9 1997 GT wheels
245/45 (F/R) Tires
2" drop rear 1.5" drop front
Billet grill
cool blue driving lights

With all that's listed above, all of which has less than 4,000 miles on it, I have about $12,500 in the car right now. However, I am setting my reserve at what I owed on the car at the time of the listing, which is about $4,500 less than that. The caris being offered with a clear title.

There are plenty of Mustangs out there for sale, this I know. But it will be harder to find one that has a fresh rebuild, warranty, build sheet and verifiable rear wheel horsepower number. It doesn’t get any fresher than this. The car itself has 104K+ miles on it and is in the condition of a 12-year old vehicle that has had exceptional care taken of it. It’s not beat up in any way, but it’s not perfect either and I don’t want to represent it as such. I have invested a lot of time and money in this car and the only[/i][/b] reason I am selling it is because I recently found a great deal on my dream car (2003 black Mach 1) that I couldn’t pass up. Otherwise, this car would be my daily driver like it was before I stumbled onto the Mach. This is a great opportunity to have this car in your garage for about 50 cents on the dollar of what is invested into this vehicle, complete with strong verified power numbers and a warranty to boot. It’s priced to move and it is listed locally.

Thank you and good luck!!!

I'm not sure entirely what you mean, but the title is clear and in a lockbox at a bank, so I don't owe anything on it if that's what you mean.

Let me know and I can PM you my number.

Thanks!

I have a live one locally right now. Hopefully, it plays out. But he won't get the MF'er discount like one of you guys would!!
To get the MF'er discount, you have to have at least 100 posts and never have flamed me!! LOL!

Acer, tell 'em how raunchy this thing is....

OK, so the local buyer/tire kicker falls through just like I figured. Gave him the test ride of his life. Can't say I didn't enjoy that myself...[8D]

calls me this AM with the expected **** and bull story about, "Well, it's all there but it's right at the edge of what I can afford and I'm afraid the 'suspension is going to go out'"

He had a 'friend' drive it to check it out. I weigh 220, he weighed a good 220-230, and his friend weighed every bit of 375-400! We've got every bit of800+ pounds of man in the cockpitAnd so the suspension squeaked on big bumps. The suspension with good condition Eibach springs, brand spanking new Jamex shocks and struts, new FRPP 1.25" sway bars.

And he says he was afraid the suspension was 'going to go out.' It was an out because the bank wouldn't loan his slacker butt the jack...
Oh well.
To recap:
engine has very fresh rebuild and about 18 months and 20,000 miles left on a transferrable warranty
car makes dyno verified 307.6 RWHP (360+ at the crank) and 341.2 RWTQ (about 400 at the crank)
handles like it's on rails
gets 18-19 mpg on the highway
nice interior upgrades
be good to mid 12's in the hands of a good pilot
spray it with a 125 shot, you're looking right at mid 11's, because the car weighs right at 3,000 lbs dry.
Make me an offer, boys!

Hmmm. That much weight, and the dude complains about the suspension? I'm a fatass too, but at least I own up to it!

Got any more exterior shots? Does it come with the GT wing?

I'm in north-central Iowa and am a cash buyer ready to drop on the right car, so I'm seriously interested in this.

Thanks,
Kent
