Alright guys, just got this one in today and havent had a chance to clean it up or take any pics. Its an 85 GT, black, 5sp, grey int, saleen stylewing, rollbar, convertable, centerline wheels, good tires, and a stiff *** clutch. Its a carb'd car (aftermarket carb). Engine, I believe but not sure yet, is a 351w. Its got full exhaust but I dont know much more about it yet, I only looked under the hood for 30 seconds and it was dark. Ill know more about it tomorrow when I have a chance to look at it and take some pics. Paint looks brand new. Its gotthe newer (grey cloth) seats and door panels in it.

Its intended for sale on EBay, but if someone snatches it up first than thats ok too Im in the south GA area (Valdosta). I can arrange shipping up to 200 miles (for a fee of course). Price will be available when I go through the car to inspect it and take pics. Depending on what I find and what I know about it already, expect the price to be in the 3500.00 to 5500.00 range (this is much nicer than most 90+ GT's).

If your interested drop me a line.

Ahh well I couldnt resist, since I posted that I couldnt leave it hanging. I snapped a shot of the front of the car and the engine. The trusty tape measure told me it is in fact a 351w. As far as the tranny and rear end goes, I don't know if its a T5 or a Tremec and Im not crawling underneath it tonight, I gazed under the rear and it appears as though an 8.8 is lurking in there, and when I drove it it definately does not have 2.73's in it, as it revs too quick. It feels more like 3.55's or 3.73's. Ill have more info on it tomorrow or so, in the meantime here's the pics:

No its not a repo, it was bought off a guy that didnt know what it was and was hard on cash. I purchased it to resell, although I want a clean fox-body and a 351w in it, I do NOT care for verts, I don't like any convertable reguardless of what kind of car it is, that just me. As for the rust on some of the underhood parts, I don't yet know if the car was sitting for a while or what. My guess is that it was sitting with the hood off for a while outside when the motor was being replaced, and the motor probably originally came from a junkyard.I have yet to locate rust anywhere else on the car. I dont know the extent of the motor mods as I havent driven it yet past 30 mph, but it definately has a cam in it.

I will respond to potential buyers after I look through it and see if there are any problems or goodies on it. Didn't have time yesterday, probably wont have time tonight either... not until Saturday. IF, and thats IF, I don't do any work to it, don't clean it up, sell it as is just like it sits, and someone offers 3,800.00 and shows up with it BEFORE Saturday afternoon I'd sell it. After that, the price will go up I'm sure (My labor = expensive

The more expensive your labor is, the less chance you have of selling it.

Actually the car will sell for what it's worth if I choose to go that route. The point of my post was to say the easier I could sell it, the less I would want for it. Once I go through the trouble of cleaning it up Im going to want market value. Look for it on EBay, after I give vfast then the other people that inquired about it first an email.
