Default 1970 Coupe, 302, auto tranny, 4500.00obo

My husband and I have a 1970 Coupe for sale w/a stock 302. I will get pix this evening. It is faded red, paint is rough and cracked in some spots, but very, very little rust - just a couple of bubbles in the lower corners of the door. Interior MUST BE REDONE. It's dirty, but more importantly, IT IS UGLY! Silver/grey 90's textured velour from front to back, on the seats, headliner, door panels, inner rear quarters, all of it except the dash!

Will need period correct looped pile carpet - it currently has late model plush carpet.

Glass is all perfectly fine. No cracks or chips that I noticed, but I will look again when I take pix.

Someone has removed the original steering column and put in a tilt column in and relocated the ignition to the column, and it was NOT well done. (Let me do that again.)

Dash pad has one crack in the usual spot where the center speaker is located.

Has a an easily repaired dent in the rear driver's quarter panel. Front pass side fender has been replaced and painted to match by former owner. it is an aftermarket fender, but it shouldn't be too hard to find an original fender to replace it with. We did find a few places where body work has been done in the past, but its very nominal.

All that being said, this car is very solid, and would make a great car to restore or resto-mod. Floor pans are solid. The 302 seems solid and to me, is a blank slate to play with. Needs some brake work to be driveable. (Well, okay. You can drive it - you can't STOP it right now.)

We are asking $4,500.00 obo. We are located in SE Oklahoma and are two hours from Dallas/Ft Worth, OKC, Tulsa, and Fort Smith Arkansas (The middle of everything and absolutely nothing all at the same time)

If this car hasn't sold in the next couple of months, my husband is planning to gut it, strip it, and restore it and put a 351C (425-450hp) and FMX tranny in it that he has sitting in his shop. The price will then go up considerably. LOL

PM me or email me at sickreality@yahoo.com if you have any questions. If I don't have the answer, my husband does.

Edit/Addition: I WILL GET PIX GUYS! Its rained for 6 days straight here and by the time I get home in the evening, its almost dark - pix taken at dusk w/overcast skies, rain, are not helpful!

I can get you pix if you're serious - the reason I didn't get them on this car already is b/c my husband has decided to sell the blue 69 coupe and possibly keep the 70 and shoe horn a rebuilt 351 4bbl in it - If you want a resto-mod that's ready to go, look at Tru Blew in my garage or hit that car domain link in my sig.... its loooaaaddddeeed under the hood and has a 2500 stall converter MSD ignition, more goodies than are listed.

Let me know if you're interested in Blew or would rather have pix of the red one - the previous owner dumped 14 grand in Blew, but we're selling for way less than that. ;-)
