Would the motor handle a roots style sc with the current blower cams? whats the max hp or boost reconmended? im interested.
The motor can handle 1000hp although I think the cams are not aggressive enough to go past 700rw. You wont hit anywhere past 700rw even with a mammoth 2.8.
One of two reasons, It was just a way for someone who can't afford it to be able to stop showing interest without acknowledging the fallibility not having enough money. Or he just doesn't know anything about cars. Either way, the motors still for sale.
To run 8:1 you need a huge blower to make up the loss. One of my friends is running 8:1 and with a 2.87" pulley and a 10% O/D B he's only seeing 17lbs and only make 550rw.
I've noticed a few things on all the boards I posted this on:
It seems some people just aren't realistic when they inquire. The first questions they are asking is how much boost will it handle and what's the max Hp. These questions are flawed, the proper question is, What do they really expect to make when it comes to Hp. Everyone seems to have crazy noob dreams of 800-1000rwhp. When someone wants to know how much Hp/Boost it can handle from now on I'll just say, "as much money as you have to get it there."
Well you see i would buy it but you stated you put your tuna sandwhich on it, as i am deathly alergic to tuna and a stray piece fell on me when i was changing the oil, i would die. So sorry i cannot buy this motor.
