hey there
Hi
Just won an auction today for a 1991 GT 5-speed ragtop. I fly down to pick it up on Wednesday so I don't know all that much about it. Picked it up for a song and a dance due to the salvage branded title, and aside from a few scratches, missing stereo and rear glass, it looks ok. Well... the wheels were stolen so it has some ugly generic alloys on it now but that all can be fixed.
Aside from that it's got flowmaster exhaust, saleen rear wing, and some ram air looking hood (that I'm not too impressed with by the photos). It's also got about 98k miles.
I don't know much about Mustangs now but I want to learn more. I got this car as a donor car for a Cobra kit that I hope to build in a few years, but in the mean time I want to build the motor up a bit.
Anyway, my other vehicles consist of a 2001 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS sedan and a 1986 Dodge Ram 3/4ton 4x4. Neither is very close to stock. The RS has about 3/4" drop courtesy of Eibach springs and STi struts, intake, header, exhaust, STi hardened engine, tranny, and strut mounts, short shifter, larger rear swaybar, underdrive pulley, the usual stereo stuff, and a few cosmetic mods. My Dodge has a 5" lift, 35x12.5 all-terrains, Edelbrock Performer intake/cam, Holly carb, MSD coil, Mopar ECM and distributor, Milodon water pump, as well as a bunch of other new stuff.
I love motorized vehicles and I can't leave them alone. If there's room for improvement in function, I'm all for it. As you can tell from my assortment of rides I'm not your average guy who only likes imports, or only likes 4x4s, or muscle cars. They've all got their unique qualities and I'm interested in them all.

Too funny. Stupid computers.
I came to realize that no matter what I do to my Subaru, short of throwing $10k at an STi engine and transmission, it's not going to be fast and reliable. I'll still continue to tinker with it, make it faster, but it's basically built for autocross now. (not that I've ever raced it, but some day)
